Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Market Developers and Distributor Sales Representatives to achieve sales, distribution, and merchandising objectives in specified geographic areas, covering both MT & GT.
  • Work with the team to meet PiCos targets for wholesalers and provision outlets, driving SOVI, volume, and sell-in range, and providing support for in-store sampling and ad-hoc activities.
  • Assist with event and sponsorship requests to build brand awareness and increase sales, and support the sales team in PiCos activation, shelf placement, and other relevant activities.
  • Collaborate closely with TSM & STL to create market impact through activation, sampling, and event initiatives, and monitor Trade Marketing program progress to ensure regional success.
  • Support Regional Sales Managers in achieving business goals through trade activation initiatives.
  • Provide updates on ongoing and upcoming Trade Marketing programs during regional meetings.
  • Contribute to the company's overall goals by enhancing market share, customer satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with vendors for activation materials, negotiate prices, and streamline installation processes.
  • Coordinate with agencies to negotiate terms, arrange support, and oversee the performance and management of external merchandisers and promoters.
  • Ensure all activation processes comply with company SOPs, from obtaining vendor quotations to payment release.
  • Manage Lion Dance setup and Promoter Blitz support for every CNY, including work schedules and outlet listings from TSM & STL, distributors, wholesalers, and MT & GT supermarkets.
  • Oversee Promoter setup for every Hari Raya program, including work schedules and outlet listings from TSM & STL, mainly wholesalers, and MT & GT supermarkets.

 

Requirements

  • Ideally 2-3 years of sales experience in a similar position, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Good knowledge of FMCG market, understanding of both modern and traditional trade practices.
  • Familiarity with market activation, sampling, and event initiatives.
  • Knowledge of performance metrics for merchandisers and promoters.
  • Good coordination and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Team player, ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
